Lower Whitewater Falls

Whitewater Falls begins in North Carolina and ends in South Carolina. These are the highest Falls in the Eastern United States. It is on of the most visited and photographed Falls in the Blue Ridge Mountains! A 1.9-mile trail leads to an observation platform

Directions: N of Walhalla on SC 11 for 14 miles; left on Hwy. 130 for 10.5 miles; right at entrance to Duke Power’s Bad Creek Hydroelectric Station; park at Foothills Trail.
